Werewolves

For some males, becoming a werewolf is a birthright; a genetic gift (or curse) passed from father to son, the first change. For everyone else, a bite is required, and that bite is usually deadly. Very few humans survive, because when most werewolves attack, they attack to kill. Then there's the ordeal of surviving the transformation itself, both physically and mentally.
The werewolves are divided into two distinct groups: Pack werewolves and non-Pack, commonly referred to as "mutts." It's thought that while mutts are not organized in any way - and are usually loners - most actively avoid drawing the Pack's attention.

Witch

Witches are always female, the flip side to the sorcerer coin. Puberty marks the onset of spell-casting abilities in this race of hereditary magic users.

Sorcerer

The male magical race (though not just a male witch). They cast with hand motions and spells.

Half Demons

Half-demons inherit the main power of their fathers. Elemental control, teleportation, telekinesis and telepathy are common, as are enhancements of regular human abilities, such as strength, sight and hearing. This power manifests itself sometime between the ages of twelve and twenty, though you may see precursors of it earlier than that.
